A Must have for spectator sports - Aug 16, 2010
I picked two of these up to take to some bike races. I was told that you could hear them from a few miles away from in the woods, very loud! They collapse small enough to fit in a backpack for easy transport. Everyone really liked them, I def. recomend this for fans wanting to cheer on their team!
vuvuzela - Aug 06, 2010
We had fun with it but it broke the evening of the day we got it so that was disappointing.
Grandparent's revenge - Aug 05, 2010
This horn makes an awful racket. My grandchildren loved them. Note it is a two piece horn that is not well made. It is a cheap version of the Vuvuzela heard and seen at the recent World Cup soccer matches in South Africa. But it drove parents crazy while delighting the children.
Revenge is sweet.
Vuvuzela...not - Aug 04, 2010
If you are looking for an authentic Vuvuzela, this is not it. It's simply a party favor noise maker shoved in a horn. Fun for kids, but not good for a MLS game.
Loved it - Aug 02, 2010
short of buying an airhorn, this is without a doubt the best was to annoy people on the streets
eh - Jul 30, 2010
The horn itself looked rather cheap, but that is not the worst part... The worst part is that after making this purchase, the next day my debit card had been cloned, meaning "someone" who was NOT me used it to spend almost $700 in another store... Guess who is not buying from these people anymore?
My roommates are screwed... - Jul 30, 2010
it works...it's the annoying vuvuzela.....good for pissing off roommates or family members....the plastic feels bad so just don't leave it on the floor and everything should be fine
best way to cheer on a sports team - Jul 29, 2010
the title says it all, without this awesome horn my soccer viewing experience just would not have been the same without it!
World Cup Stadium Horn - Jul 29, 2010
Not what I expected. The horns were placed in a box that could have been a little bigger. The horns were bent a little. But more disappointing is that they were dirty. They must have been sitting on the floor of a warehouse somewhere. There was no sticker or writing on them indicating "World Cup" anywhere. I didn't pay too much for them, so I guess you get what you pay for. I was better off going somewhere local to avoid the wait time and shipping costs.
Stadium Horn - Jul 25, 2010
I spoke with a representitve about cancelling my order...
The request was confirmed and the order was supposed to be cancelled with no additional charge.
I was still charged for the product and havent received my money back.
Not good when shipping cost $70 and the horn was only $7.

Only to have fun blowing an extremely loud horn to play pranks on people or during a soccer game. Product is totally fine.
Vuvuzela!!!!!! - Jul 24, 2010
I can't even lie, as much of a childish thing this is, its very fun annoying the hell out of everyone. Also its a freakin' vuvuzela. What more could you want?
bbbbbzzzzzzzzzzzz - Jul 23, 2010
sounds just like the ones at the world cup. only problem is it does come in 2 pieces and when connected they don't provide a very tight seal and tends to fall apart, duct tape will fix this. :)
It does what its supposed to do...make a lot of noise!!! - Jul 22, 2010
I bought 20 of these stadium horns for a World cup 2010 birthday party for a group of 12-20 year olds. We were in a conference room at the university gym,(so we could run downstairs during the break to play indoor soccer)watching the final game--spain vs netherlands. We were glued to the screen and when spain scored all 20 of the vuvuzuelas went off! It was awesome....other guests of the gym came into our room to see what all the noise and excitement was about! It was hilarious! So, they were an excellent purchase...they did exactly what I wanted them to do...they lent some authenticity to the party, they were great favors, and they made lots of obnoxious noise to celebrate the winning goal! P.S. there is a technique to successfully making the vuvazuelas make noise. So we did have to practice for just a minute to get the sound right, but the kids did NOT care!!!
A Horn of Plenty! - Jul 20, 2010
I purchased this product as part of a home-administered hearing test I wanted to perform on my wife and dog. Neither of them seemed to listen to a word I said; I could yammer on until I was blue in the uvula, with no response. Nothing but blank stares. So I decided to find out whether they'd actually gone clinically deaf or had just learned to tune me out, by making a series of loud and annoying noises and monitoring their responses.
If three weeks of South African sport taught us anything, it's that soccer is approximately as action-packed as a first date with an Amish chick -- and that these vuvuzela things are really, REALLY annoying. Perfect for my experiment. Or so I thought.
I started with the dog, waiting until she was asleep to sneak up behind her and give a good blast on the horn. What happened next is kind of a blur, but the encounter ended with a long trail of dog urine leading into the hall closet, from where the mutt wouldn't come out for the next three days. Apparently, these vuvuzelas are capable of hitting the fabled 'yellow note', at least in mutts.
I'm no scientist, but I think it's safe to say that the pooch can definitely still hear sounds in the 'amplified hippopotamus fart' audio range. Now all I have to do is train a flatulent hippo to command her to 'sit', 'stay' and 'get out of the stupid closet; I need my umbrella', and we're back on track.
After some thought, I decided not to test my wife's hearing with this product, mostly because I don't want to deal with another mess. She sleeps on our bed -- and there's no telling where her pee trail would lead. Probably to a divorce lawyer.
horn - Jul 20, 2010
The first horn didn't arrive in very good shape. Contacted the seller & immediately got a new one. Tremendous seller! Got it as a gag gift for my son-in-law who is a huge soccer fan!
VUVUZELA FUN!! - Jul 18, 2010
GREAT. A COUPLE OF BLASTS FROM THIS AND I CAN GET ANYONE OUT OF BED!!
vuvuzela... with a few tricks up its sleeve - Jul 08, 2010
I was exceptionally excited when i heard i had a package in the mail. when i opened the exceptionally light box, i found my treasured vuvuzela inside. it extended easily, but the first note played was a buzzy "buh". after another try or two, i looked into the horn to find some odd device hiding within. turns out this vuvuzela contained some kind of reeded noisemaker for those unfamiliar with blowing horns. so i just blew air through, and it sounded like an obnoxious saxophone. the noisemaker was easily knocked out by using a large, heavy pin, but the first few notes produced were quite pathetic compared to the first vuvuzela i had played. i was severely disappointed, but then i blew that first clear vuvuzela note, and was extremely pleased with the product.
tl;dr:
easily telescopes in and out of playing position for transport or whatever
noisemaker inside allows for easy play, or can be removed for louder, authentic play
it's a freakin' vuvuzela.
Vuvuzela World Cup horn performs well - Jul 08, 2010
I like how it collapses and it is very very loud. I think it is a fun toy and will enjoy using it to annoy people. I did however play it for a long period of time and it stopped working temporarily.
Good Buy!! - Jul 08, 2010
Good plastic, great sound, fun to blow during the World Cup games and annoy my neighbors :)
Very Fun! - Jul 07, 2010
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2YZRGPXXGLLUD Video demonstrating the Vuvuzela. It slides apart to make it full size, then play it like a trumpet. It works very well!!!
World Cup Born - Jun 28, 2010
I got the Horn to take to the World Cup matches. It's very cheap plastic and comes with no instructions on how to play a tune. Also, drool forms on the cusp of the Horn so it gets very messy.
I found that it is a good Horn to scare away rodents in the African desert. Other than that, it's pretty much worthless, even as a funnel for car oil. It came to its end when some drunk British fans beat me with it.
great noise maker - Jun 27, 2010
Best noise maker. My boyfriends brother woke up his dad with it and scared the pet dog that was sleeping next to him.
exactly as described - Jun 22, 2010
Loud, full of spirit, and tons of fun are the best phrases to describe the vuvuzela. The horn is super durable, and performs exactly how I would have expected. I'm hoping that they catch on more here in the US, can you imagine an American Football stadium full of spirited fans with vuvuzelas? Perfect. I know that I'll be bringing mine to the game!
Be hated on-sight if you have this horn in your hand - Jun 18, 2010
