 Very amusing - May 09, 2010

The Zhu Zhu Pets may not be educational, but my daughter really loves these and they are really fun. They are much better on hardwood than on carpet. Try not to let them get hair or fibers in those spinning wheels. These are really cute and I don't know one kid that doesn't like them. My daughter's friends and cousins are all very absorbed in them when they play with them.

Also, since I couldn't find this information prior to buying one, I thought I'd share this: you CAN change the batteries. You need a screwdriver to open the compartment on their underside and replace the battery when a Zhu Zhu is getting "sluggish" or just won't turn on anymore.

Over rated one time toy that had it's day in the sun and with in two weeks resided somewhere in the depths of a child's closet forgotten.

Cute, but we have tile floors and deep carpet, so they don't run well. However, we will get the ball to put it in, and then let it run and see if that works better. Might be more fun if we buy the habitat and stuff too,... but there's more money out the door!

I got this for my friend's daughter. One of the most hilarious things is when their bulldog charges back and forth at it. He wants to be tough, but then it freaks him out and he runs away. The kid loves it, too. Endless entertainment.

I bought this item in the secondary market (like most parents) but from a pretty decent website that does not price gauge that much...
[...] for those interested.

It's an awesome little toy. I think I play more with it than my son! I have it on my desk and on the floor playing with it all the time... It's so much fun. And then the cat in the house is chasing it as well.

The price is steep but I highly recommend it, for kids or even for Adults.... ha ha.
