 These are a waste of money!!! - May 13, 2010

So Sorry!!! But we bought all of the Zhu Zhu pets and everything that we could find to go with them and they are so cheap. None of the parts stay together long enough for the kids to play with them. It is a real pain because the girls like them and wanted to play with them but they constantly needed me to come fix it. SOOOO they finally became aggravated with them and had me box it all up and put it in the closet.
A lot of my friends bought them and have had the same problem. The way they hook together just does not hold. The little pets are ok to go around on the floor but all the accsessories are not worth the money or the trouble.

 Hamsters run wild! - May 08, 2010

Ok, the ramp and slide work fine but what is suppose to connect to the bottom of the slide?? The bottom has a different connector so none of the other components work with it and the hamsters just run wild after leaving the slide. We would like to connect the bottom of the slide back into a tunnel or round-about or something but none of the products fit! Blocking the bottom doesn't work either since the hamsters cannot back up or turn around on the slide. This seems to be an oversight in the design of this product.

 Needs Higher Walls - Mar 28, 2010

The ramp and slide add-on looks rather neat, however I find that unless I help keep the pets on course it will ride up the wall and fall over. If it had a bit taller walls to prevent the nose of the pet from getting caught over the top I think this add-on would be great. Unfortunately as is it falls just a bit short... excellent effort, but a disappointment to me.

I can't recommend this product because I haven't had a chance to use it. It did not come with the tunnels to connect it to the rest of my habitat. I have called the Zhu Zhu Pet company several times. The first person was helpful and took my information, said it would be sent out. A month later, I called again, this time the person was not very helpful, said give it more time, and then call back. She wouldn't check the number or anything to help me. So a week later, I'm still waiting. I think replacement parts should be sent promptly. I'm not sure if the first notice even got taken care of. I won't be buying on-line again because there is not any recourse to get it resolved quickly.

I purchased this for my daughters Zhu Zhu pets and it is very cute! It hooks up to the main "house" and the pets scramble up the ramp and then down the spiral.My daughter loves to watch the pets go up and then down the ramps. A "must have" for your Zhu Zhu pets!

 hamster just can't climb that ramp! - Jan 18, 2010

I got my daughter the funhouse set that came with Patches for Christmas. The connector on one side of the tunnel never sits right and comes apart easily. She just got this ramp/slide accessory last night and the ramp is made of 3 connecting pieces. The connectors for the ramp, like the funhouse, also don't quite snap securely into place resulting in 2 problems. First, as with the funhouse, a slight bump and the ramp falls apart. Second, because the connection is not tight, the hamster sometimes stalls over the bumps and spaces. Still, even when the connections are tight (when I first fix it) this accessory is really disappointing because the hamster just can't climb the ramp without a little help from my daughter. For the amount these toys cost, I expect better quality.

This is our second favorite add on accessory to the zhu-zhu fun house! It is a lot of fun to see the zhu-zhus go up the ramp, come down and keep on going! It is also very sturdy - we havent had to do any modifications on the ramp b/c it is built pretty good.. stays together, doesnt come apart or anything.

Someone mentioned that they had problems with the zhu-zhus getting stuck in the ramp.. let them go! They get "stuck" all the time, its on purpose..! Often times they'll get to the very top, stick their nose out and make little sounds for about 10 seconds or so, and come right back down the ramp and try it again! Its kinda cute.. it does this often - it'll stop going up the ramp for a few seconds, and either continue on or go sliding right on back down. We have never had any problems with the zhu-zhu becoming permanently stuck (well, unless you count two of the zhu-zhus trying to go up the ramp at the same time, then yeah.. these things dont share very good, do they?!)

Anyways, excellent add on accessory, I do recommend it!

 Hard to Go Up the Ramp - Dec 30, 2009

This was the first accessory I bought after reading the instructions on how to put it together (especially the plastic legs) it was great. But like the other reviews the little hamster does get stuck when going up. But he backs down and then is able to go up. Going down is no problem. My daughter still loves it.

What kid didn't want the Zhu Zhu pets and all the accessories this Christmas? So Santa made sure that the pets and the accessories, including this ramp, were under the tree Christmas morning. What a surprise to find that this falls apart with any slight touch or movement by my 2 kids. The hamsters get stuck on the ramp and this is very irritating too. I am taking this and the other pieces that Santa brought back to where they came from and getting my money back! Save your time and money and look for something else.

We have 3 Zhu Zhu's. The all get stuck on the ramp.

I reassembled everything very carefully to make sure things are according to specs. But it still does not work.

This is very frustrating.

I just got the entire set of these Zhu Zhu sets, complete with ball, and ramp and garage, hamsters and everything else these sets contain. So far we have had no problems with the hamsters getting stuck, or the ramp falling apart. We didn't buy them from this site because they're too expensive here. I got this ramp for only fifteen dollars at the store just two days ago. Be patient and you will stumble across your own soon enough at local stores. Christmas is coming, so they will make more for your child too. Mine is safely wrapped and tucked under my bed in preparation for my daughter's Christmas wish list. I tested them to make sure they weren't junkie like some people have written. As for the hamsters, I recommend you change the batteries before your child plays with them, as they don't work properly otherwise. My daughter is going to love all the Zhu Zhu sets I have for her. She has the entire hamster city!

Zhu Zhu pets ramp with add on slide is one of the best action toys for the hamsters,they chatter all the way around the ramp and slide out and keep going.Great fun for everyone.

My son wanted a hamster, but we couldn't have one with our cats. He's really enjoyed this, and it is about the right amount of responsibility for him! Cute little guys just keep moving & chattering. We haven't experienced any problems.

 Dangerous Toy and a Rip Off - Sep 24, 2009

This accessory toy is part of a pet hamster line which caused injury to a child. The hamster pet toy can severely pinch skin and get entangled in hair during normal play. The wheels spin fast and change direction rapidly. If picked up and the wheels engage skin is caught in the wheels and they do not release. Just leaning in to play with the hamster is enough to be in danger of hair getting caught in the wheels and not just being pulled, but the hamster climbed up to the scalp of a child's head before the toy could be stopped and almost cut the scalp. The toy should be recalled. Therefore, the accessories are of no use. Also, the price is ridiculously expensive.
