I bought 5 of these for each one of my grandchildren, they love them. The all sleep with them, take them in the car and lay on the couch with them. Then once they are dirty in the washer they go...... out clean and pluffy. Ready to go again. Well worth the money.

Our daughter has wanted this pillow pet for MONTHS, and she will be getting this one for her 3rd birthday later this month. I have to admit, the ladybug wouldn't have been my first choice of the ones they sell, but my daughter wants the LADYBUG, so that's what she's getting. :) (I ordered it specifically from amazon, with the free 2 day shipping--best deal!) Once it arrived, I was happy I bought it. It's super cute, (much cuter than in pictures. Even my husband admitted it's pretty cute!) incredibly soft, and seems to be of good quality. I think it will hold up well. I know she's going to LOVE it, so it gets 5 stars from me. :)

My son LOVES his pillow pet and falls asleep on it every night. However, the material doesn't breathe and I have to remember to replace the pillow after he falls asleep or his head gets all sweaty. I also think it is overpriced.

I bought the lady bug pillow pet for my 3 year old daughter.My little one loves to play with it and spends lots of time with her bug.I got the 18" one and I found that it is a good size to use it as a pillow and pet and hence it serves the purpose.It is soft and very attractive and the price that I paid for it is quite reasonable. Overall I am happy with this product and will recommend it to my friends and family.

My son has been seeing this commercial for the past several months and every time it comes on, he would run and grab a square pillow that is for the couch and hug it while the commercial is on. I could not afford to buy him one because of money issues but a wonderful friend, bought one for him. Pillow Pets are a wonderful product, very durable and the BEST thing is that it is machine washable! He has a Sponge Bob pillow, that I can't even wash and my husband paid $35 for that thing! Thank goodness this was made by a mom, so she knows that everything with kids HAS to be washable! When I get some money, I am gonna get my son the blanket and slippers to match his pillow!
I think that it is a unique, great pillow and I can just put my little ones Pj's in the middle and he can carry it around all day and I don't have to hunt for his night clothes every night. They are cute and cuddly and your child will just love them. Problem they are having right now, is that they have been overwhelmed with orders for the past 11 months; so, outside vendors are your best bet, like Amazon. Do Amazon direct or try to get a reasonable seller.
Some of these sellers on here are shamelessly charging up to $100+ for these pillows and they ought to be ashamed. Its a kid's pillow, for goodness sake but as they say, what goes around, comes around and God will definitely fix their little wagons. I don't know why Amazon lets them do this. Ours was bought DIRECT from Amazon, not a seller and so my friend paid less than original price. If you live in Minnesota or are passing thru the airport on business or such, at The Mall of America, My Pillow Pets, Inc, just put in an authorized vendor to sell her pillows, blankets, slippers, etc. literally 4 days ago! There is a train that takes you from the airport to MOA in a matter of 10-15 minutes.

My Grandson who is 3 years old just got his Lady Bug pillow pet today... He loves it... I really wanted him to get the bumble bee pillow pet because I thought the lady bug would be a little girlish.. but it's not... He loves it because it is red.... When I told his Daddy that they make a pillow pet blanket and backpack to match he said go ahead and order them too... This is something that my grandson can grow up with.... Don't worry if a boy wants the red ladybug.. It can be for both boy or girl...

We ordered a horse pillow pet, from the original website. It is very soft and my kids love them. But after 2 months we noticed the seams where coming apart. I called the company, to recieve a replacement and because we were 2 weeks over there return policy there was nothing that they would do... I explained that I ordered this for my daughters birthday and that we have only been using it for 6 weeks. They did not care... Other companies that I have used over the years, would have replaced this. And the shipping cost was almost as much as the pillow.

My 8-year-old daughter was begging for this, so we bought it for her (plus the Dolphin one) after some good behavior ;)

It is huge, well, I guess bigger that I thought it would be. When unfolded its about the size of a standard bed pillow. Very soft material, quite plush. I just hope the strap holds up, both the connection to the pillow & the velcro, since the strap takes all the stress when its holding the pillow closed.

The only thing that I noticed is that the face is slightly creepy. Maybe that's not the right word, but oh well, I'm not mentioning that to the family Btw, just my internal reaction.

Not necessarily cheap, for $10 less it would be a really good value, but at $25 it's slightly overpriced IMO.

*** Note: I see back in Dec. 2009, it was listed at $299, I wonder if that was a typo and it was actually $29.99? or maybe they were trying to cause hysteria before the holidays? Strange.

My 5 year old wanted a ladybug pillow pet so badly that she memorized the website address and told me to get on my computer and order her one! I doubted that she'd really use it once it arrived but, she carries it around and sleeps with it each night so all in all, it was a great purchase. I am very pleased with the quality of it as well.

We got this for our grandson and he loves it. Super soft and cuddly, the perfect bedtime buddy. Durably made with material that really can take the abuse. Our grandson can convert it from the toy to pillow all by himself. Great product, just shop around for price.

My daughter loves this pillow! She received it for Christmas last year and has since asked for and has received a second pillow- the Lamb.

There are other places where you can get all of the actual Pillow Pets cheaper. Your local mall may even have a kiosk. Hands down- cutest and softest pillows ever. Can I justify getting myself one? ;-)

 Best thing I ever bought the kids - Mar 06, 2010

This is the best thing I ever bought my kids (boy 7 & girl 20 mo). Durable, washable, soft, well made...everything I was looking for. I bought another knock off from Walmart and that was poorly made.

The velcro tag has a 'cover' that goes over the rough part of the velcro, so you never feel it. You have to peel it away to make the pillow into a pet.

I bought several (ladybug, dog, panda, frog) and each one was nicely done. They've been in the wash several times and held up rather well. I'm actually buying another ladybug (my baby's favorite) so I can have a 'clean' one on hand in case of accidents, which have happened already. I will also buy her the ladybug blacket that is offered when ordering from the [...] site. If you buy more than one (which i recommend) each one after the first will be cheaper and shipping is minimal.

Both kids sleep w/theirs every night, and the baby insist on carrying hers around all over. I find her hauling it, laying on it, hugging it through out the day.

This is one item that I 'found' on television that lived up to the claim of "...one hug and you'll fall in love..."

Higly recommmend this product.

This lady bug is just "too cute". My granddaughter loves it and sleeps with it every night. She would not think of getting in the car to come visit us without her Pillow Pet Lady Bug. It is so plush and soft that she can just squeeze it. I highly recommend this item.

This is crazy what these people are charging OMG!!! I found the somewhat same pillow at a Walmart store and it was only $5. Just bought it today for my 6 yr old and she loves it, she thinks its a pillow pet LOL! I measured it and the pillow is 12 in. wide and the ladybug from nose to tail is 14 in. I know some of you might say well the pillow pet shown here is 18 inches. and yes I know that but my daughter doesn't care cuz this one is more portable. Its perfect for carrying around cuz its not as bulky and need I mention again only $5 bucks!!!!! Other pillows they had were a pink monkey (with a cute butterfly stitched on its but), ladybug, bumblebee and frog. Just thought I'd share, hope this helps! :)

The item was shipped very, very fast and in great condition. I since see these pets cost around $20 and I had to pay $79 plus shipping. I should have shopped around so that was my fault. But that said, I would deal with this seller again as everything was handled promptly.

My granddaughters have Pillow Pets (did not buy from this vendor), the pillow pets deserve the 4 stars. This vendor deserves 0 stars for trying to rip off customers.
