The stamp pad is dry and will not come off on the stamps. Seems like you should be able to buy one of those rolling ink tubes to freshen it up so it would work.

I bought this to go along with a stamp set and my daughter loves it. Great quality as always can be expected from Melissa & Doug's products. The colors are very bright and it's lasted for almost a year of continuous use.

I use this to stamp my kids' hands on their "thank you" notes, as I am teaching them the now dying art of actually thanking people who give them gifts or are kind to them in small gestures. The kids love playing with them. Best of all, the color wipes off with a soft cloth wipe. I highly recommend.

My daughter loves this stamp pad. The colors are vibrant, the pad areas are large enough for most of her stampers, and the case is very convenient. It is much better than the smaller stamp pads that only fit smaller stampers. The ink has been of good quality and shows no signs of running out anytime soon. I love Melissa and Doug products and this one was no disappointment.

This was my PERFECT solution to dress up my packages when I sent them out. I wrap up my new book, DINO MANNERS Dino Manners: Some Prehistoric Lessons Featuring Our Friends from the Cretaceous Period in news print - Green, but BORING and put them into stiff envelopes to protect them - also boring. I love the Melissa and Doug products so knew this would be good ink. The colors are great to grab attention.

I also bought some dinosaur rubber stamps with cute faces. They only came with a green ink pad. I wanted to stamp the outside of the newsprint and the envelopes so that when the book arrived the recipient would know it was something fun and special. Many are sent as gifts so it really set the tone for a wonderful surprise.

My children can easily use this pad without making a huge mess. They are 5 and 8. Do you send packages regularly? Pick up a couple of themed rubber stamps, this ink pad set and dress them up! Great way to let your children make inexpensive recycled wrapping paper. Newsprint in bulk is really cheap.

This is a pretty big stamp pad and compared to other items out there, it's a great deal. I don't know where I'm going to find this, but I need BIG stamp pads! My kids got a lot of fun stamps for Christmas and I bought this hoping it would do the trick but it's still not big enough and my kids don't like how the colors blend when they are using their big stamps. It is a really nice set though with bright colors and seems like it's high quality ink!

This stamp pad is quite large and I love the multiple colors. My 18-month-old daughter loves it and we use it almost exclusively instead of individual ink pads!

My boys really like this. The only complaint I would have, is they tend to put a stamp on color after color and the yellow is already blue. They might not do this if they were seperate stamps. The convienence of one stamp pad outweighs that problem.

I've gotten the same enthusiasm for this stamp pad from my 4-yr-old daughter and 8-yr-old nephew. My nephew enjoyed my daughter's horse stamp set, so I bought him the dinosaur set recently. There is something extra special for the kids in getting that BIG, bright, extra stamp pad with the stamp pad in the stamp set! The colors are vibrant and offer so much more creativity when the kids are using the stamps. A worthwhile purchase!

We've spent a fortune on stamp pads of individual colors, and this one is the best. It's fun for stamping and fingerprinting (like any of the Ed Emberley finger/thumb/funprint books). We love Ed Emberley around here, and his books are all multicolored, so you have a choice, either lose some of the magic with monochromatic fingerprinting, spend $30 on individual stamp pads - if you can find them, or BUY THIS!

I bought this stamp pad for my 3-year-old to go along with a "Melissa & Doug" stamp set. This stamp pad is really nice. It's very big (bigger than I expected) and the colors are really bright. It's easy for little hands to use because of it's size and the ink is washable, so it's easy to wash off hands and wash off of counters/clothing.
