Bought this as a gift. My son has one very similar and has always loved playing with it. Wish the stamps were a little bigger as there is very little room to color. Overall, a lot of fun and not messy.

I bought this for my niece for Christmas and it was an immediate hit. I like the simple but useful packaging and the terrific price. My niece wasn't supposed to open the packaging on gifts until she got back home (to avoid messes at Grandma's house), but we found her hiding behind the tree coloring with her new stamp set! She's very happy with it, and the box it came with means she hasn't lost all of the pieces.

Was extremely dissapointed with this product....Only two ink colors that were dry. No matter how hard my grand daughter pressed down, you could barely see the print. Pencil's were cheap & barely showed color.....It went in the garbage & I will never buy from this seller again.

my 5 yr old granddtr was very excited when she open this, but found it dificult to get enough ink from pad to make the stamp pic actually come fully through on paper, which surprised us, because I also thought products by mellisa & doug were of great quality. we are going to try & either wet the pad(maybe it's a little dry) or buy a ink refill to help moist pad. otherwise, handling the stamps & the color pencils made her very happy.

My 5 year old niece loved this product. It comes in a nice wood box to hold all your supplies and the stamps are large and heavy. The color pencils are nice as well.

I am surprised to see such high reviews of this product. The ink was practically dried out upon opening it, and when you stamp an image on paper it is so faint, it is barely visible... I don't know if I just got an old set or what, but I certainly wasn't impressed...

This Friendship Stamp Set captured the interest of my grandchildren aged 2 through 10. They had tons of fun letting their creativity overflow from their minds to the paper. Watching this creative display is well worth the cost for this grandma.

The Melissa and Doug Friendship Stamp set is perfect for young children who love doing projects with stamps. The delightful images include a butterfly, rainbow, teddy bear, hearts and flowers, and also a bouquet of balloons. There are also five colored pencils included with the set, and two pads of washable ink, which is always practical for little ones. This is not really meant for serious craft work, but more as a fun activity for young children. Highly recommended!

I really like Melissa and Doug Toys. This set is no different.

The stamps in this set look like the ones someone might buy at a more expensive stamp place. They are wooden. While they might have less details than some of the stamps made for the adult market; they have some details putting them a step above the other cheaper children's stamps you can buy.

The stamp pad is bright and colorful. It did not quickly dry out.

My daughter has enjoyed using her stamps when I have pulled mine out.

This is a great little stamp set, but arrived VERY late. Took over 2 weeks to get to me. The other items I ordred arrived in a timely manner, but this took too long. Otherwise, nice set.

Great stamps, high quality. The pink ink is a bright, highlighter pink, and my daughter a more visible ink color. But other than that, it is a great product! Very high quality and seems to hold up to frequent use.

This is a very cute set for young girls. The stamps are attractive and durable for young hands. The pencils and stamp pad are nice and bright colors that girls like. My daughter is 4 and loves her set. I gave it four stars only because the lid does not slide on and stay like most other Melissa and Doug sets. The price is right though for under ten dollars and I would still recommend this stamp set for gifts.

This would be ok for small kids I think. My 8 yr old is not that satisfied with it. It does not come with a lid or top of any kind. The product is ok.

Bought this for my seven year old niece for Christmas.
She loved it! The kit is small, about 7-8 small stamps, one stamp pad with both pink & purple ink, and some colored pencils. But she had a lot of fun making sweet cards for everyone. She loves her arts & crafts, but I would guess for someone who already has a large array of stamps, this set might be a little to basic. But for a young girl who loves to make cards and crafts of sorts, this is a great beginner set.

We bought this for our 3 1/2 year old daughter and she loves it! She really likes to create cards for people and this set allows her to decorate them however she wants. The stamp selection is good without being overwhelming and she enjoys using the colored pencils to color in her designs. The only drawback is that the stamp pad ink isn't very vibrant, so sometimes it's hard to see the designs. It's not such a big deal since you can purchase stamp pads just about anywhere anyway. Overall, it's another great product from Melissa & Doug.

My daughter really likes this stamp set. The only complaint I have is that the box doesn't have a lid or anything to keep the items inside. My daughter likes to take things with her when we visit family, and this is difficult to travel with. The stamps ARE very cute, though, and we've had a really great time creating beautiful artwork for the refrigerator!
