Fun for all ages - Aug 16, 2010

We bought the Ultra Stomp Rocket with refills for our 2 year old along with the Glow stomp rocket junior for the younger ones. It is alot of fun--something dad likes to do with him. The rockets interchange with the ultra stomp rocket kit and the glow stomp rocket junior kit. The Glow rockets don't go quite so high but seem more durable. The hard plastic on the ultra stomp rockets does tend to break. For the value, I would recommend getting a second kit rather than buying the replacement rockets. This will allow you to "compete" when blasting off. Additionally, we bought the super high performance ultra stomp refills (for dad mostly). These unfortunately do not fit either the ultra or stomp rocket junior kit so we are unable to use them. The diameter of these rockets is more narrow--wish the add would have explained that. Load of fun! The durability in the stand could be better as it often comes apart but due to the cost, it is not unexpected.

     Great Fun! - Aug 09, 2010

I was looking for some fun outdoor toys for my 5 year-old daughter that we could enjoy together. This fits the bill. It has been a lot of fun. I also have used it to teach her about taking turns so that I can make sure I get a chance to stomp. My one year-old boy also likes even though he can't make take off on his own--we just jump on it together.

I would give it five stars but the stand keeps coming apart so it is a little annoying. Otherwise great toy.

     Stomp Rocket Fun - Jul 31, 2010

My grandson is having a lot of fun with this toy. My son and grandson took it to the park and shot it out of sight. It is giving hours of fun and each time they try to make it go higher. I would buy this toy again.

    Thank You,
    Joyce

Great fun for all ages!! - Jul 30, 2010

I got this for my son for christmas and then recently purchased another one for my friend's son's birthday. It is so much fun that even my husband and I had to give it a try. Overall, it is pretty durable however I had to tape the red wings on the rockets back on. But I think the reason they came off is from my kids grabbing them from each other. They do not fly well without the red wings on them. The stand is 3 pieces that fit together and sometimes comes loose but doesn't cause to big of an issue. Would recommend this product!!

     Kids love this! - Jul 23, 2010

I got this toy after reading reviews of it and hearing about how much other children loved it. We found it easy to put together and easy to use. Our three grandchildren absolutely love it, and probably launched it a hundred times shouting with delight the first time we had it in the yard.

I wasn't sure what to put for durability. It seems quite light-weight, though it's survived many a stomp just fine so far.

hours of stompin' fun - Jul 22, 2010

really fun for the kids and easily amused adults (like myself).
the plastic stands are a little flimsy and the duct tape came out on the first day of play.
overall, a great time! buy two so the kids don't fight over it.

Best summer toy EVER!!! - Jul 20, 2010

This is an awesome toy. It keeps the kids busy and allows mom to sit for a awhile. My 3 year old has no problem reloaded and launching. Even my one year old loves to sit on it and watch the rocket go. Very happy that it came with 4 rockets. I bought two one for each, but dad seems to like as well. They like to have a contest of who's rocket can go further. The only issue is that I would like the base to be sturdier. But I would totally buy another for the kids and for gifts.

Our favorite Birthday gift to give! - Jun 30, 2010

We have had this toy for years...recently I bought it for my youngest children. They had so much fun that I buy it for all the birthday gifts we seem to be buying lately. Its a favorite.

     Birthday gift - Jun 27, 2010

This toy was birthday gift for my nephew and it was the first toy he wanted to play with and so did the other children. So I bought one for my 2 girls. They are have loved the toy and had fun with it and it seems to have held up so far.

Great for boys and girls! - Jun 16, 2010

This is my go-to gift for 4-6 year olds. I originally bought it for a little boy's 5th birthday, but my 4-year old daughter liked to so much, she had to have one too. It is simple enough for younger kids to use, but just as fun for older kids who can stomp the rocket much higher! Highly recommend it!

     'ol fashioned fun - Jun 12, 2010

My 9 yo grandson and I played 'the highest' and it seems an adult weight doesn't have too much of an advantage over a 70# kid if he jumps on the launcher correctly. Amazing height and safety.

     There's Nothing Better - Jun 05, 2010

I bought this for my 3 year old grandson for Christmas. For the next four or five days all he wanted to do was to go outside and play with it. The relatives who live locally literally set up shifts to come over and take him outside to play with it. It is now 5+ months later and he still plays with it 4 or 5 times a week. I bought him some refills so he could fire it several times without having to retrieve the rockets. He now has it to the point where there is a place in the park about half a mile from home that is the only place he will play with it. It's wide open so it is much easier to find all of the rockets he fires when he retrieves them.

     Stomp Rocket - May 03, 2010

Fun toy, the kids love it but you should buy extra rockets as they don't last too long.

     Tammy - Apr 27, 2010

My son who is 4 and daughter is 5 loves playing it. Worth the money.

     fully functional - Apr 27, 2010

Didn't know if this thing would really work, but it's well-designed and seems quite durable. Makes for an instant contest to see which kid can shoot it the highest. Very easy to use, and it gets fun in a hurry!

Great fun for kids - Apr 22, 2010

I ordered this for my 6-year-old son. He and my older daughters all love to play with it. It is great fun!

     Kids love it! - Apr 17, 2010

My 6 year old nephew had one of these stomp rockets, and my 3 year old loved it so I got him one. It is now the hit of our neighborhood - even our 20 month old likes to shoot the rockets. Easy setup and easy use make it great for both parents (we just have to sit back and watch - well, we do have to remind them to share every so often) and kids.

Worth every penny and more! - Apr 16, 2010

I saw an online recommendation by a mom of a 5yo boy for this. She was absolutely right. My 5yo nephew LOVED it! It's probably the most inexpensive gift I've ever bought for him, but by far the one he's most enjoyed. The whole family had a blast playing with it, and watching him get such a kick out of it. Highly recommended. Also, get the refills so you have more than the 3 included.

Love that stomp rocket! - Apr 15, 2010

Everyone has loved this, from the 18 month old to the 35 year old! We've taken it to parties with friends, and it has been a hit every time. You can change the angle of the rocket's trajectory, allowing for use in smaller spaces (sending it sky-high instead of launching it far away). And the little kids just stepping on the "launch" part of it create enough force to pop the rocket off. FUN!!

     Very fun - Mar 30, 2010

The base for the launcher pad is a little flimsy, but it is easy enough to put back together when it comes apart. Other than that, the toy is great. I debated whether or not to buy this set or the junior set for my three year old son, and am happy with my purchase. My son is able to get the rockets pretty high, and loves to watch me send them flying over the roof of our house.

     Funnnnnnn! - Mar 24, 2010

I bought this toy for my nephews and hid it in their grandparents house somewhere and told them that they had to find "their present" before they went out and played.

It must have been an hour and a half before I FINALLY gave in and started to tell them hints on where to find it.

"It's up higher than my shoulders."

"UGH IT'S IN THE OFFICE GEEEET ITTTTTT!!"

    Good hints.

Then FINALLY they found it and we went into the back yard to play a real game. The bullets kept getting onto the roof so we ended up takin' the wheelies off my 7 year old nephews shoes and staking him out on the roof. He just kept running around and tossing them down to us. It's OK it's a small roof so he wasn't running around too much waaaay up there.

It was a LOT of fun, and out of my three nephews (aged 5 to 11) NONE of them broke it in the 1 hour initial period we ALL stomped the crud out of it. The 11 year old, 5 year old, their dad and my 110 pound-self crushed that thing and it didn't pop! Good toy for the price, for sure!

     simple fun - Mar 15, 2010

This toy provides tons of fun for the kids. It is durable and easy for them to use.

     stomp rocket - Mar 05, 2010

I am so happy that I bought this for my 6 yr old grandson. Everyone in the family loves playing with it. So far, no problems with it at all and the 6 yr old has no trouble making the rockets fly. It's still pretty new so I am not sure how the durability will be but so far I am VERY happy with it. By the way, the jr glow rockets work great with this.

Fun toy for my 6,7 year old nephews - Feb 26, 2010

They love showing this off to their friends but besides the initial excitement this toy has little to offer. It is fairly durable, contains multiple rockets (incase any should get lost like ours did). Recommended.

     stomp rocket - Feb 01, 2010

this was a good purchase for my 5 year old son. It does go far if you jump on it hard enough. We've only had it for about a month so I am not sure if it is durable. You can tilt the rocket to go straight up or sideways or any direction you wish. I would say it is a good toy for his age.
