Fun especially with 3 or more players! - Jul 09, 2010

    Recommendation: BUY

    Pros:
. Quick and easy to play
. Kids 5yr+ can enjoy the game

    Cons:
. Little to think about, not much strategy
. Gets boring after a few plays

    A few words:
It's a good buy if you have kids in the 5 to 7 years range, they will enjoy it, not so much fun for adults, gets boring really quickly. I also played it on Xbox Live with other online players, it's slightly more entertaining since you spend time chatting with others without thinking too much about the game.

Good game for a family game night. - Jun 26, 2010

I bought this for my ten year old after he expressed an interest in playing it. He had played it with his friends and now we play it as a family all the time. It is great fun and it ends up as a great way to gather and keep the family occupied.

     Uno is Number 1 - Apr 01, 2010

Uno is the best game for all families. My family loves it. The rules are simple. It is easy for both little kids and big kids to understand - just match the number or match the color. It is also very fun and we love the competitive edge in making your neighbor pick "four cards". But watch out - your neighbor can reverse the flow of action and make you pick "four cards".

New Look, Same great game - Mar 05, 2010

After moving out of my parents place, I was in need to replace my most favourite games, UNO being one of them. The aim of the game and rules are still the same as all those years ago, but the design of the cards has changed drastically, not for the better in my point of view.
If you have an old version, stick with it, if not, you'll have to live with the new design, but the game itself is great!

     Lots of fun - Feb 07, 2010

My mom didn't really like games that were this easy when I was a kid, so a couple weeks ago was the first time I played. My family played together and it was so much fun. The rules are very easy and since it's very luck based it makes it a great game to play with children. I have 2 teens and we had a blast playing. Definitely going to be a regular in our family game nights. I'm just surprised it took me so long to try it!
My husband did play a lot when he was younger with house rules, but we play with just the standard rules.

     Cards are a little flimsy - Jan 30, 2010

We've only had this set of Uno cards for about a month and if you saw them you'd figure we've had them for years. Mostly that's because my kids are always asking to play Uno but it's also because these cards are kind of flimsy so a few of the cards already have visible folds in them. The cards are also smaller than I expected but that's not a big deal. Great game though.

     Fun card game - Jan 30, 2010

My kids and grandkids all really enjoy UNO. A really fun game for everyone.

     It's UNO don't you know! - Jan 27, 2010

What can you say? This game was and always will be a blast to play. My 4 & 6 year olds love it. It's always fun on game night.

Too expensive for its quality - Nov 23, 2009

I purchased this produce because I thought it must be made by durable material for this price. I really disappointed when I received it.

     Still Fun - Oct 10, 2009

Uno was a great game when I was a kid and I still have fun when I play this game with my own children. You can make the game last as long as you like and you don't have to keep score which is nice when you are playing with younger children. The recommended age is 7 but I agree with other reviewers who've said that this game can be played with younger children. My children started as young as 3 1/2. It's a great opportunity for family time, practicing color recognition, number recognititon, counting, matching and turning taking. As a mother and prek teacher, I whole-heartedly recommend this game.

     Fun/Easy - Sep 20, 2009

My Uno game got to me in good condition. Very fun & easy game; me and my husband love it.,

     Great card game! - Sep 10, 2009

Uno is great for all ages! I have spent many a hilarious hour playing this game with my children!

     Classic card game - Jun 12, 2009

Easy to grasp, even for the quite young.
(It's like a simplified version of Crazy Eights/Jack-Change-It, in case you don't know, but comes with about 120 cards)
    My daughter loves it.

I like that the manufacturer has the foresight to supply several blank cards to use as replacements for ones you'll inevitably lose or damage.

     amazing! - Jun 04, 2009

I've been playing Uno since the early 1980's and I've yet to not have fun playing this game. The game is simple enough for a young child to learn, and losing is just as fun as winning.

Game play is usually frenetic, and calling "uno," whether you have your last card in hand or calling out one who has forgotten to do so, is one of the best calls in any game hands down.

    A must for everyone.

     Always a favorite! - May 10, 2009

I got Uno to play with my mom. I had forgotten how much fun it was! We use modified rules to make it more interesting.

     Good, classic fun! - Mar 28, 2009

If you don't love Uno, you don't love fun. I keep a deck around for moments of boredom. It's always good to kill some time and it's always enjoyable. Fun, laughs and competition... Good stuff! :)

     Uno card game - Mar 22, 2009

We enjoy playing UNO very much. We are on the hunt to find a UNO deck that is just like the ORIGINAL deck. The original deck has the words on the cards spelled out, like: SKIP, REVERSE, DRAW 2, etc., instead of the symbols for the words. We thought we had finally found some through the ad we found on Amazon which said, THE ORIGINAL set. When we got the decks, they were just like the ones we already have and not the original ones UNO looked like with the words. So, if there is anyone out there that knows where we can find the ORIGINAL cards, please let me know.

UNO is a game for all ages! - Feb 21, 2009

I know there are several newer versions of this game, but the old standby is just as much fun as it ever was. Even a game between two people -- I play with my 8-year-old grandson -- is a lot of fun, and it's quality time well-spent with my loved one.

uno of my youth!! - Feb 10, 2009

I played uno many years ago and enjoyed it. a friend reminded me of the fact that it was still available. i ordered it immediately and have been enjoying "game" night once a week....

     Gotta love Uno! - Jan 30, 2009

Great, simple card game you can take with you anywhere. Good when you're waiting or just want a quick game to play with friends.

Most inexpensive fun ever! - Jan 18, 2009

Well, it took me and some friends a few minutes to figure out the non-worded cards like reverse and skip, but it plays just like any other deck of uno.

With a few rule changes, the game becomes really fun and crazy. Two decks of Uno it is endless fun. Some rules are:

    1. if you have the same card that is on the table, you can cut in with the exact same card, which allows you to skip others.

    2. the draw fours and draw twos stack. you can stop it with the same color function or wild draw four.

the above is the simple and easy way to speed up the game, and makes for great fun for the family.

Great product, and for $14 cheapest way for 2 decks for endless fun.

Lots of fun for the Family. - Jan 18, 2009

This is yet another way to have fun witht he family without using electricity. It allows you to talk to your family members while you play and I think it helps to keep the family together.

     UNO CARD GAME - Jan 17, 2009

Fun game with children - Jan 07, 2009

Our family enjoys all types of games and this is a classic. This one I gifted to others for Christmas.

Fun To Play That You Never Want To Put It Down - Dec 25, 2008

This past month i was on vacation visiting my family in Panama. I took out the Uno Cards one night and we started playing. My cousins got addicted and wanted to play every night so we did. The second night i decided to spice it up a bit and add these blank colored cards that i guess come in the packaging as replacements and decided to use them as any card other than a Wild or Wild Draw Four card, meaning it can be used as a regular color and number card, a draw two, skip, or Reverse card. Ah man we had so much fun after i did that, that we kept using the idea, and made the game so much more fun. The last couple of nights we played before i had to leave, just 1 hand took us about a couple of hours to finish, it was like playing a game of Monopoly that you didn't know when it was going to finish as it was back and forth all night. I played with a strategy in mind whch was to prevent anyone but myself from winnning when they were low on cards and i had like 20 cards in my hand and all of them were draw twos and draw four cards and i combined them all in one play and kept the Wild Draw four as my "Uno" card to automatically win the game. It was alot of fun and had me realizing how much fun Uno can be if you set your own rules sometimes to mix it up and keep it fun.
