Three Year Old Loves This - Jul 23, 2010

Took awhile to get it assembled and is a little on the weak side but once set up it works great. Our 3-year old grandson enjoys it a lot.

4 year old grandson loved it - Jul 22, 2010

Got this for 4 yr old grandson. May be easier for an older child to use, but have given him lots of fun. Also, older grandkids, especially boys love it

     Inexpensive fun - Jun 19, 2010

Cheap and fun. One of the better toys we've purchased. 3 year old son also gets to learn about air pressure. We took the base off almost immediately. Now we just aim and shoot. And my son likes just puffing the air out the end tube without a rocket in it!
The rocket fins are rather flimsy (one fin broke from one rocket, there are four rockets, but the "broken" rocket still works and it actually helps teach aerodynamics better to my son - I'll probably take another fin and then the last one off so that we can see what happens to the flight).

The best toy ,my kids the love it - Jun 11, 2010

I bought this toy for my 3 years old son and my daughter she is almost 2 years old and they both love it , my daughter she ate the rockets she made a hole in them and we can't use them anymore ....I have to buy more rockets now it is a great toy for 3 year old .

Hit at our Park Birthday Party - Jun 09, 2010

This toy kept many of the kids engaged during the birthday party. It's great for ALL ages. Just know that the rockets can break easy esp. with children under three. But, I bought a secound stomp rocket because my kids enjoy this toy.

Gift for my nephrew - Jun 03, 2010

I bought this for my nephrew's birthday. My sister called me and said she had to hide them because he would be up first thing in the morning stomping on the machine and she could hear the rockets hit the ceiling. All the kids loved it!! I love finding great toys for the kids and this is a winner.

fun but the base falls apart easily - May 26, 2010

My kids enjoyed this for a few days, but the base constantly falls apart and they are asking me to put it back together. It is a cheap toy so maybe my expectations are too high, but I'd be willing to pay for a few more screws to keep everything together better.

     Great rocket! - May 21, 2010

What a great toy! I just bought this for my 3 yr old son, and he LOVES it. Super easy to setup, and he had it figured out in like 2 minutes. The rockets are great as there foam, so no risk of hurting anyone. He's a light little guy at just 27 or 28#s, and he can shoot it 20+ feet - I can get it much, much higher (high enough to get caught in trees, in fact :p). Would definetly buy again!!

     Grandkids love 'em - May 19, 2010

We have 2 grandkids, ages 3 (boy) and 5 (girl). It's a blast watching them blast off their stomp rockets. Plus, they're exercising, chasing their rockets all over the yard. Plus plus, they're burning up all that energy.

As for being educational... I guess. They maybe learn about modulating the force of the stomp. It's fun watching the younger one learning to track the flight path. He usually looks where the last one went, so a change in the wind is his curse.

There are design details I'd've done differently, but they're holding up pretty well. Also, I think it'll be pretty easy to rig up some repairs when the time comes.

     What Fun!!! - May 18, 2010

Once Grandma figured out how to put it together, the fun began. I bought each of the grandkids one, 3 1/2 and 6, and they had a ball. Even the little one managed to get it up pretty high before they started to go for distance. Perfect gift. Safe. I bought a larger set for Daddy so he could join in the fun. It turned out to be one of the most enjoyable Sunday afternoons in a long time, just sitting there, watching all the kids, big and little, stomp away.

     Lots of fun for $10! - May 04, 2010

I got this Stomp Rocket for my twin 3-1/2 year old boys. I wanted an "active" toy that wouldn't break right away and this definitely is everything I had hoped for! Between all the "stomping" and retrieving the rockets before the dog gets them, the boys are getting TONS of exercise! The rockets are fairly soft and we've even used it inside when the weather was crummy (and if one lands on the roof, we just wait for a gust of wind and it comes right down). They constantly want to play with it and I will probably get one more just so they don't fight over it all the time. The only complaint I have is that the plastic base (made up of three pieces that sort of slide together) keep coming apart (but the boys haul it around everywhere and are pretty rough with it, so that's probably a user problem). One cool feature is that the launcher can be "aimed" at things, instead of just shooting the rockets straight into the air. I would definitely recommend this toy....I liked the price also!

     Awesome!! - Apr 28, 2010

I absolutely LOVE this toy. I bought it for my nephew, who just turned 3. He LOVED it! It was even fun for the adults who gave it a try. I know I'll have to buy some more rockets because he is tough with them, and they brake easily. But other than that, I would highly recommend this for kids any age. Its fun to watch their face light up with excitement.

Fun inside or outside - Mar 10, 2010

All four of my children ranging in age from three years to 10 years and my husband love this product. We used it outside with the stand and shot it high enough up in the sky that we lost sight of it until it came racing down. Inside, we use it off the stand and aim it at a target or just across the room. My youngest still has to stomp on it, but my older children can squeeze the launch pad under their arm to get it to go off. Because it is the Jr. set and made entirely of foam, it doesn't hurt when it is launched directly at you. I found this out, several times. : )

The one downside of this toy is the stand. We had to reassemble or readjust it after each launch. It's quite flimsy. However, if you're short enough, the stand isn't necessary when you stomp on the pad. Just lay the pad down, hold the hose in your hand and stomp.

I'm not sure why this says it is a glow set, the rockets are white, but they don't glow. Perhaps adding some glow stickers or paint would be fun.

If you shoot this outside, you will need a wide open space, the rockets are easily caught in trees. Also, make sure there aren't any dogs around. lol. It only takes a second for them to destroy the rocket.

Overall, I am very pleased with this product and bought several more to use as birthday presents.

My 3 year old can't stop playing with it - Feb 12, 2010

My just-turned-3-year-old son opened the Jr. Stomp Rocket last night. Since it said it could shoot up to 100 ft. I figured it would be best set up outside. However, it was snowy and dark. He really wanted to open it and look at it. I set it up in about 1 minute. Then I figured, since he's only 3 and the rockets are soft, maybe he could try it in the house. He LOVED it. I didn't think he'd have enough force to stomp it, but he can shoot it about 30 feet all by himself. He can also reload it by himself. I love that he can be successful and play with it independently. He played with it for about 25 min. straight before bed, then before breakfast this morning, wanted to eat with the rockets near him at breakfast, played with it after breakfast, then it was the only thing he and his little buddy played with during their 2 hour play date, then again after his nap. I ended up confiscating it since he whacked his 1 year old sister with the hose. You'd think it was a fate worse than death! He wanted to eat dinner with the box next to him so he could look at the pictures. Who knows how much longer he would have played with it? I don't mind. It's silent, it's safe, he doesn't need my help, and he is active as he chases and reloads. The only time he needs help is if it gets stuck on top of our armoire. Fun that the rockets glow in the dark and that there are 4 of them (he and his friend alternated turns and could keep the action going while the rockets were being fetched). The person who gave this to us warned us that the non-junior version go pretty high and get stuck in trees and on roof tops. So, if we play with this outside, I guess we'll go to a parking lot or big field and not do it around our home. We couldn't find the nut that secures the hose to the stand and the screw eventually works its way out. I'm sure we can get a replacement for a few cents at a hardware store. However, my son and his buddy figured out that they didn't need to use the stand. They could hold the hose in their hands and aim it where they wanted it (into the next room). They didn't mind at all and it probably makes it even more accurate. The insert said you can go to the company (D & L Company) website for lesson plans. Apparently, this is a popular product with teachers. I'll have to check that out and see if I can teach my son a little science as he plays if they are simple enough concepts. What a great toy and SO affordable. I'm going to order some as gifts.

Awesome toy, simple fun - Feb 10, 2010

My two year old LOVES the stomp rocket. He got it for a birthday present, and we recently purchased this one for a gift for a friend of his (also 2 yrs). It is a very simple concept, easy for them to master, and doesn't have a lot of parts. We don't use the "stand" for it, we just put the rocket on the end of the hose and he stomps away. My 5 year old nephew has had one of his own for a few years and has a blast with it, too.

Fun for my grandson - Feb 10, 2010

This was chosen from my grandson's wish list. He likes it but it's rather flimsy. The base comes apart easily.

     Great fun - Feb 09, 2010

Great fun awesome purchase. My four year old and his friends love playing with this. It's put together fairly well, though the tripod mount slips apart pretty easily at times. Only problem we've had is keeping the dog from chasing and catching the rockets, already got two of them. Recommend buying the extra pack of rockets at the same time.

Stomp Rocket Jr. Glow - Feb 05, 2010

My son got this for Christmas, he is 5, and he just loves it! The hardest part, is getting his twin big brothers age 9, to let him have a turn on his own toy! Even his little sister, who is 2, has figured out how to aim and then launch the rockets, just by sitting fast, onto the launch pad. I love this toy, because even when it is cold and snowy outside, the kids can still play with it INSIDE the house, and because of the soft foam rockets, you don't have to worry about them breaking anything. This will keep them busy for hours, and I love to hear their laughter! It just cracks me up!

     Stomp Rocket a Hit - Feb 01, 2010

My three-year old grandson rec'd this for Christmas, and shared it with his 5-year old boy cousin, and 3-year old girl cousin. They loved it and wanted to play with it all day. Since the rocket is foam, it was okay to shoot off in the house, and they took turns seeing how high or how far it would go.

For a stomp-on toy, this product is very durable. Great fun for pre-schoolers!

     Great Toy! - Jan 29, 2010

I bought this as a gift for my 4-year-old nephew. He loves it! The rockets really fly far. He loves running out to pick them up as much as he does stomping to make them go. He's had hours of fun playing with the Stomp Rocket. The stand is adjustable so he can make the rocket shoot way out into the yard, or straight up into the air. The rockets are soft foam, so there is no risk of injury for anyone who gets in the line of fire. It came with four darts which are large enough to not get lost easily, and they glow in the dark!

     Buy It - Jan 27, 2010

I've bought this for two kids now and found it was a huge hit with both the kids and the adults around when the gift was opened. There aren't too many toys around that can deliver up so much fun outdoors, require no pumps or batteries, teach simple trajectory, appeal to all ages, and all at an affordable price.

Best fun without batteries - Dec 23, 2009

I bought this for my 6 year old son's birthday. It was a hit! There was plenty of hooting and hollering as the rocket went flying along. I really like it because it can be used safely indoors and out, there is nothing to break, there are no batteries that keep running out and it doesn't need another person to play. I've also bought one for a nephew's Christmas present so I'm hoping it will be enjoyed as much.

     Great gift - Dec 15, 2009

The kids just love it. They spend a lot of time shooting the rockets off. It's easy for them to use, (4 & 5 yeear olds) and it keeps them busy.

Kids Love This Toy - Dec 06, 2009

Children really enjoy this toy, this is the second set that I have purchased because so many chidren have played the with the first that the stand broke. My 3 year old grandson loves this toy. In addition, his cousins who are 8 and 9 like to play with it as well. My son has told me that children in the park have patiently stood in line to wait for their turn to launch a rocket. This provided an opportunity for my grandson to work on "sharing". Great gift...

     great toy! - Dec 05, 2009

This is so much fun for kids. My four year old loves it. Got it for his birthday and all kids love it and the adults too.
